Updating the Default URL

Occasionally it becomes necessary to change the default URL for form submission for a phone in the field. There are slightly different mechanisms to handle this situation per deployment, so this document presents the most general and failsafe options for changing which URL is submitted to by default.

  1. Reach the form submission screen by filling out a form or sending an unsent form.
  2. Select the last option to send to a new URL.
  3. Fill in the new URL you want to set. And select "Menu->OK"
  4. Submit your form, ensuring that it works correctly.
  5. Back on the home screen load the context menu and select "Settings".
  6. Find the Current URL for POST's property.
  7. Ensure that it is set to the new URL. Otherwise, select it from the list and then press the 'done' button.
